In The Swapper, you play as a female astronaut who is stranded on the abandoned space research station in a science-fiction universe. You are to discover the secret of a mysterious item, which allows you to clone yourself and to transfer the mind to the clone. Therefore, the cloning ability is a basic game mechanic that helps you to solve puzzles and complete levels. You play as the protagonist, as you try to clarify the mystery of the abandoned research station and to restore the sequence of events held aboard the station.
As a classical platformer, you control the action from the third-person perspective.
